My research spans a range of topics related to both cryptography and cryptanalysis. I have two
primary research areas. One is the area of post-quantum cryptography, i.e. investigating
candidates for secure cryptosystems deployable in the era of quantum computers. The other is
implementational security, i.e. designing attacks on various implementations of cryptographic
algorithms that either actively tamper with the implementation (fault attacks), or passively
observe the behavior of the implementation (side-channels).
Other current research interests include coding theory and applications of its principles in the
design of encryption algorithms.
